Project Overview

The Google Place Reviews Analytics initiative is a segment of the Urban Analytics Lab’s (UAL) research. This project aims to analyze user-generated reviews from Google Places to derive insights into urban living conditions, public sentiment, and potential areas for enhancement.

Objectives

  • Sentiment Analysis: Assess the overall sentiment of reviews to understand public opinion about various locations.
  • Theme Extraction: Detect recurring themes and topics within the reviews to identify common concerns and highlights.
  • Actionable Insights: Offer recommendations for city planners based on the analysis to enhance urban environments.

Methodology
